
American actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen, born February 16, 1989, is Elizabeth Chase Olsen. Born in Sherman Oaks, California, Olsen began acting at the age four. She starred in her debut film character in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011. The film was acclaimed and nominated for Critics' Choice Award in addition to other awards. This was following which she starred in the horror film Silent House. Olsen was nominated for an BAFTA Rising Star Award and she graduated from New York University two year after. Olsen was recognized worldwide for her performance as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise as she appeared in the superhero films Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), in addition to the mini-series WandaVision (2021). Her character in WandaVision received her nominations for an Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Mystery Film Wind River (2017). She was executive producer of and played in the film Sorry for Your Loss (2018-19), winning a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination.
